Why East Kilbride Needs Cantilever and Coil Racking
East Kilbride is a major Scottish manufacturing, engineering, high-tech electronics, and distribution hub in South Lanarkshire, home to extensive industrial zones including Nerston Industrial Estate, College Milton Industrial Estate, and Kelvin Industrial Estate. Facilities operating here handle large volumes of timber packs, structural steel, plastic piping, aluminium extrusions, sheet metal plates, and timber fencing panels. Rackstor UK cantilever racking offers the ideal solution, providing heavy-duty structural columns with extended support arms that allow continuous side-loading. In addition, East Kilbride's active packaging, paper converting, electrical assembly, and automotive supply sectors manage high volumes of commercial carpet rolls, industrial paper rolls, steel wire coils, heavy electrical cable drums, and packaging foils via Rackstor UK coil racking.
