Why Galashiels Needs Cantilever and Coil Racking
Galashiels and the Scottish Borders commercial region support active timber processing, textile manufacturing, civil engineering, and trade building supply sectors. Key commercial nodes including Tweedbank Industrial Estate, Wilderhaugh Industrial Area, and Ladhope Vale Commercial Zone require efficient vertical storage. Operations across these sites manage structural steel joists, soft and hardwood timber packs, plastic drainage piping, architectural aluminium extrusions, copper tubes, and perimeter fencing panels. Cantilever racking from Rackstor UK provides vertical storage with open horizontal access. Concurrently, the Borders' active textile weaving, electrical contracting, and commercial print sectors manage heavy fiber-optic and electrical cable drums, steel strip coils, industrial paper rolls, and packaging foils via Rackstor UK coil racking.
